I cannot over emphasize the importance of the Annual Foreign Missions Telethon. It actually accounts for approximately one third of the yearly Foreign Missions budget. When it drops it is difficult to maintain the ministry we have around the world. Overall contributions dropped $78,520 from 2015 to 2016. If this trend continues, we will be left with no choice but to cut our ministry in the various countries where we work. Therefore, this year is extremely important. Foreign Missions operates on a debt-free basis. We do not borrow money. We keep all bills current, so if revenues drop to the point that we cannot make the required monthly transfers to the fields we have no recourse but to cut support. Please join us in prayer for Telethon 2017 on March 26. The goal is $225,000. We have never reached this goal, but are praying that this will be the year! Together we can, and even exceed this goal. Telethon materials have been sent to all churches. We trust that it is being used to encourage and challenge everyone to pray and give to the Annual Telethon . THANK YOU!
