On April 26, 2026, our church, First Free Will Baptist Church – Manila Chapter gathered under the open skies of Blue’s Farm Resort in Norzagaray, Bulacan, for a momentous day of outdoor fellowship, worship, and celebration. The serene landscape and the flowing waters provided the perfect backdrop for a day dedicated to honoring God’s faithfulness in the lives of our members. Excitement filled the air as the congregation arrived in the vicinity at exactly 8:00 AM, eager to begin a day dedicated to honoring God’s faithfulness. Our outdoor worship service commenced promptly at 9:00 AM, lifting praises that echoed across the scenic landscape. This gathering served as a beautiful convergence of several milestones: a time for deep family bonding, a joyful thanksgiving for our recent graduates, and most significantly, the sacred act of water baptism. As the sun shone down on our congregation, we were reminded of the beauty of God’s creation and the strength we find when we come together as one body in Christ.

We rejoice with the 18 individuals who followed the Lord’s command and publicly declared their devotion to Him. As they emerged from the water, they symbolized their new life in Christ, leaving the old self behind and embracing a future led by the Spirit. This act of obedience echoes the promise found in Romans 6:4: “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”Watching our brothers and sisters take this step was a moving experience for everyone present, reinforcing our shared mission to make disciples of all nations.

In addition to the baptisms, the day was filled with heartfelt gratitude as we celebrated our graduates. From elementary to higher education, we stood together to offer a prayer of thanksgiving for the wisdom and perseverance God granted these students. We claim for them the promise of Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.

The afternoon continued with outdoor family bonding, where laughter and stories were shared over meals, strengthening the ties that bind us as a spiritual family. Whether through the solemnity of the baptism or the joy of the fellowship, the day at Blue’s Farm was a testament to the vibrant life and unity of our church. To God be all the glory for this unforgettable day of harvest and happiness!
