To God be all the honor and praise for the wonderful things He has done at Abo-abo First Free Will Baptist Church, as we gathered together to celebrate Family Day 2026 at Gamad Pool last August 30, 2026, through the leadership of our Pastor, Rev. Freedom G. Amenin. This special occasion was a meaningful time of fellowship, worship, and strengthening our bond as one family in Christ.

The celebration was centered on the theme, “Rooted in Christ”, based on Colossians 2:6-7, reminding us of the importance of walking in Christ, being firmly rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith. Through this gathering, families were encouraged to grow together in their relationship with the Lord and with one another.

The day began with a meaningful Morning Worship Service, where the church family gathered to worship God and listen to His Word. We were blessed by the ministry of our Guest Speaker, Rev. Nerry M. Peralta, whose message challenged and encouraged everyone to remain rooted in Christ and to continue growing in faith.

In the afternoon, the celebration continued with a special Baptism Service, witnessing individuals publicly declare their faith and commitment to follow Christ. It was a joyful and memorable moment for the entire church family as we celebrated God’s work in the lives of His people.

The gathering also became an opportunity for us to renew our covenant as God’s family in Abo-abo FFWBC, reaffirming our commitment to walk together in faith, love, unity, and service.

Indeed, Family Day 2026 was more than just a celebration. It was a beautiful reminder that when we are rooted in Christ, our families and our church become stronger, our faith becomes deeper, and our fellowship becomes more meaningful. May the Lord continue to guide the Abo-abo First Free Will Baptist Church as we grow together in Christ and faithfully serve Him.
