The First Free Will Baptist Church Manila youth ministry recently embarked on a transformative team-building activity held on August 3, 2024 at La Mesa Ecopark Fairview, Quezon City. The event aimed to foster spiritual growth, camaraderie, and a deeper connection among the youth members. A total of 41 young people and 9 volunteer facilitators participated in the said activities.

The activity featured outdoor challenges, fellowship, and faith-based games. The goal was to create a fun and engaging environment where youths could learn valuable life skills, strengthen their relationships, and deepen their understanding of faith.

Some of the key highlights of the team building activity were the following:

• Teamwork and Collaboration: Participants worked together to overcome challenges and achieve shared goals.  The retreat provided opportunities for youth members to connect on a deeper level, forming lasting friendships.
• Spiritual Growth: The activity incorporated sharing of word of God facilitated by the church pastor, Pastor Arnel Cuba that fostered spiritual reflection and growth.  Participants gained a renewed sense of faith and purpose through spiritual reflection and shared experiences.
• Leadership Development: Youth members had opportunities to demonstrate leadership qualities and take on responsibilities. The activities challenged youth to step up as leaders, demonstrating their skills and abilities.

The team-building activity had a positive impact on the youth members, fostering a sense of unity, belonging, and purpose. Our youth participants had learned the valuable life skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership. They also deepened their understanding of faith and their connection to the church community.  One of the breakthroughs happened during the day was many youths had accepted Jesus Crist as their savior.

The First Free Will Baptist Church youth team-building activity was a resounding success, providing a memorable and enriching experience for all participants. The event strengthened bonds, fostered spiritual growth, and equipped the youth with valuable life skills. As we look forward to future events, we are inspired by the enthusiasm, dedication, and positive spirit of our young people.
