The South District FFWBC Youth successfully held the Youth Conference 2024 with the theme, “Elevate and Be United.” The event brought together 92 youths and pastors with the shared goal of building a strong, united Christian community to glorify God. The day began with an opening prayer led by Pastor Roderick B. Nilasa, followed by uplifting praise and worship led by the FFWB Narra Church. Reverend Jimmy L. Ombang warmly welcomed everyone and set the tone for the event.
Inspiring Messages
The conference theme was thoroughly explored by four inspiring speakers:
- Sister April Anne E. Reyes delivered a powerful message, reminding everyone that “We each have a part to play in the body of Jesus Christ.” Her words encouraged attendees to recognize their unique roles and contributions within the church.
- Reverend Reymon A. Mate emphasized the need to “Break down every wall that hinders our growth with God.” His message inspired self-reflection and the courage to overcome personal and spiritual barriers.
- In the afternoon, Reverend Freedom G. Amenin spoke passionately about the power of unity, illustrating that “Through unity, there is movement and progress, attainable by God’s help.” He highlighted the importance of working together as a team to achieve God’s purposes.
- Finally, Reverend Armando R. Manzano provided practical guidance with a focus on setting SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) to grow spiritually and align our lives with God’s will.
A Call to Action
The lessons shared during the conference were heartfelt, inspiring attendees to take action in the name of Jesus Christ. It was a day filled with spiritual growth, unity, and renewed dedication to living for God.
To God be all the glory!
