Our History in Bulgaria:

In November 1991, The Reverend Willem van der Plas and his wife, Lydia, opened the work in Balchik. Settlement and language study were their first priority. The Rev. Paul Grubbs and his wife, Teresa, moved to Bulgaria in May 1992 and served there until November 1993. Our work is located in the cities of Sophia, Varna, Balchik, and Targoviste. There is a medical clinic in Sophia that is operated by Dr. Kiril Svilenov. The work is in the other areas of the country is mainly among Gypsies. We have been able to minister to many children, teens, and adults through Bible lessons, Christian education, and relief.
