Sunday, May 28, was a remarkable day for us. The brethren of Canigaran Free Will Baptist Church went to Balsahan Pool, approximately 12 miles from Puerto Princesa City. We had a wonderful time of worshipping our Creator outside of the church building. I read Scripture from Psalm 19:1–2, as we meditated upon His goodness to us. We recognized our graduates for their success in schooling for the past year. This was followed by a baptism for six young people who have committed their lives to serve God in obedience to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19–20 states, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
We also took the opportunity to induct the newly elected church youth officers. Please pray that they will serve the Lord in this capacity and prepare themselves for a greater ministry. Glory to God for allowing us to do these things. We praise the Lord!
