“How is it then, brethren? When ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying” (1 Corinthians 14:26).
I am delightful to share with you the blessed time we had during the National Summer Conference in Varna this summer. Brothers and sisters from Varna, Balchik, Turgoviste, and Sofia gathered together in the church of Varna for fellowship and praise. We had morning and evening sessions, with sharing the Word and praising the Lord. During breaks we shared challenges of life we deal with, as we serve the Lord, our Savior, and we encouraged each other with the Word. In contrast with last year, when the conference was organized for people from different denominations, this year all participants were from the Free Baptist Church in Bulgaria. We shared the Word of God on different topics, such as: The Importance of Prayer, Church History, Apologetics, Pride, and The Voice of God in daily life. Pastor Kosta opened every session with a prayer and Pastor Ivan prayed every evening for the sick and the needy. Each of us had a testimony of how the Lord helps if you approach Him with a humble heart in prayer. We were happy that our Field Director, Dr. Kiril Svilenov was able to share with us.
On the third day of the meeting, we felt recharged and thankful for being part of that assembly. The Lord is so good. During all sessions, we prayed for different matters, but we also prayed specifically for the Original Free Will Baptist Foreign Missions, of which we are part of in Bulgaria. In all circumstances, we always remember and thank the Lord for you who pray and support Foreign Missions, for we in Bulgaria are fruit of it. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His love and joy.
